Tel Aviv tattoo artist Artem Korobov defines his style as graphic avantgarde. We were surprised to learn that he’s only been tattooing for four years (while admiring the work in his portfolio, we thought he’d been at it much longer)!

What inspired you to pursue your career as a tattoo artist?
Life! A lot of things can inspire me – people who made it and progress always inspire me – music, movies, nature – my inspiration can really stem from many different kinds of things.
How many tattoos do you have?
I didn’t count them but I have plenty!
Most interesting/funny/awkward tattooing experience?
Tattooing in the central station of Tel Aviv is always a really funny experience. Tel Aviv is a crazy place!
If you could tattoo any person in the world, who would you choose?
I have tattooed many of them.
Besides tattooing, what are you passionate about?
I love extreme sports …inline skating, surfing, training at home trying to be strong and tattoo forever. I’ve started to get more inside Muay Thai and its super fun!!!
Tell us about your shop/studio – what can a client expect when they walk through your doors?
I have a private shop in Tel Aviv – the name of the shop is _DUMIYA_
I work there together with my girlfriend is our place she is also tattooer …and another friend; we work only by bookings with our clients. The style of the shop could be described as street graphic mixed …
Any advice for aspiring tattoo artists?
Believe in yourself and work hard! Big passion and hard work will bring you wherever you want!
