What three things can’t you live without?
Coffee, a comfy bed, and laughter.
Explain what a psychic intuitive is.
Intuition is essentially Claircognizance, clear knowing. Everyone has intuition and a clear knowledge about things, whether they’re tapped in or not! We, humans, are multidimensional beings, pure consciousness, and we all have the ability to sense and know things about ourselves beyond what is physically evident in our third-dimensional reality. We are all connected to one another so we can feel, hear, and sense things about us, others, and the world around us if we are open to it. Separation between us and our higher selves, and us and others is an illusion, so we can feel energies, hear each other’s thoughts, feel vibrations, etc. Often people say they have a gut feeling, or what it’s like when someone pops into your mind and then a message from them pops up on your phone. A lot of people chalk this down to coincidence etc. So, it’s a matter of how open a person is to receive intuitive information.
A psychic intuitive is someone who is open – who has heightened sensitivities, a much stronger acceptance and connection with the unseen and spirit world, and is also able to connect with themselves and others at the higher dimensional level beyond the 3D physical realm. Psychics, or those who are psychically attuned, whether practicing as professionals or not, receive information beyond what is seen or shown in our physical reality. There is a much thinner veil between them and the other dimensions and spirit world because they are very open, and often have a heightened sensitivity and a linked purpose. Therefore, the clear knowing/intuition that effectively everyone has access to is more strongly received. In a professional sense, a psychic will be more attuned than the average person and has honed these natural innate gifts, to receive but to also translate as guidance what they’re picking up to provide guidance and insight.
When did you first discover your gift? Did you immediately accept it, or did you try to sidestep it?
I had gifts from a very young age and could feel people’s energies, and hear their thoughts, often knowing what they would say before they said it, or how someone was feeling even when they were not expressing it. I often found from my teenage years that I naturally gave advice to people without knowing much about them, as I could sense a lot and deliver certain messages – this is known as channeling. I didn’t actually recognize all this as unusual, but then I also reached a certain age where I blocked my gifts – egoic fears, my own shadows – that reinforced separation between each of us and our higher selves had me tuned out. I, like many, had family and societal pressures and also wanted to fit in. Years later, amidst a crisis time in my life, coinciding with the unraveling of a long-term relationship and co-founded business – I had my real spiritual awakening. This involved a kundalini activation that personally and typically brings about massive emotional, physical, energetic, and sensory shifts, shedding of egoic layers, and my gifts reemerged really intensely! I reconnected with those gifts, but also my truth path and purpose as a psychic coach and tarot reader.
How does your gift work? Do you turn it off and on? Or is it always there?
I laugh when I hear this question because it’s like when I get into an Uber, and the person asks me what I do and then they immediately say, ‘What do you see for me?!’ Haha
I’m definitely not ‘switched on’ all the time. I can and have to turn it on and off. When I first awakened, I found that hard. I was constantly flooded with information and sensory overload. It’s a necessity to control this. When I first started working professionally, I hadn’t learned that discipline – I could feel and hear messages from and about clients even long after sessions. I became completely drained. Any professional learns as part of the craft and self-care that it’s necessary to disconnect, otherwise, you ultimately will be drained of all your energy. Grounding is very important, so in times when you’re not working, it’s important to get very present and reconnect with yourself and your own energy. Otherwise, you’re constantly tapping into other energies, spirits, and realms, and essentially not functioning well day to day!
If you’re walking down the street, are you picking up on the thoughts of everyone you pass, or do you have to focus on someone?
Sometimes I can pass a person in the street, or I’ll be in line at the supermarket for example and I’ll feel their energy very strongly, or a thought will pop into my head that’s not mine, or I’ll receive a message about what’s going on with them. I certainly, more than anything, can feel an energy shift, e.g.: if a person is going through pain, or very angry, etc. Moreso, as explained before, I try to stay grounded and present within myself and have boundaries when I’m in my day-to-day.
I do get a lot of telepathic messages, premonitions, and feelings in my off time connected to those I’m more intimate with – friends, family, lovers, and people I have a bond with. If I’m in a social setting, a party, or a private gathering, where I am more closely connected to people, I can pick up a lot of energy from people around me. If I interact with someone, even if I’ve just met them, I can sense a lot about them and what they’ve been and going through – I may or may not express what I’m picking up – depending on whether it’s appropriate. Often, I do find that it’s people that are drawn to me in those settings and it’s for the purpose of delivering some guidance.
You work as a spiritual coach. What precisely does that entail?
My private sessions with clients are a form of psychic coaching. I combine channeling and tarot to pick up past and present circumstances and to predict and navigate future choices and outcomes. I always emphasize that predictions are based on one specific timeline. We are the creators of our reality and have the power to shift if what we keep experiencing is undesirable. In my coaching, I don’t tell fortune. I emphasize that our thoughts and subconscious beliefs are dictating our choices and how we experience and continue to experience our physical reality. I focus on empowering individuals to shape or even reshape the outcomes when the experiences are unfavorable, with an emphasis on healing self-concept issues and employing mindset manifestation techniques. I’m a big proponent of the law of assumption, and the law of mirroring – universal laws that show that what our physical world mirrors back to us, what we believe to be true – consciously or unconsciously. My coaching work is centered around techniques and guidance for clients to create new realities for themselves rooted in their true desires.
Psychic readings provide valuable insights and guidance to the subconscious programming and beliefs. Our thoughts, consciously or unconsciously, create our reality. Readings will show how your thoughts and beliefs have manifested certain outcomes in your physical reality. But there are infinite versions of perspectives, events, relationships, choices, and potential outcomes we can choose. Spiritual coaching helps to explore the infinite possibilities available to us as co-creators of our reality and destiny.
You have ink. How many and which is your favorite?
I have two tattoos – and I couldn’t tell you which is my favorite; they both have a very deep significance for me. I have one on my inner left arm, that says La Emperatriz, and another on my left ribs, a memorial piece for my brother, Benny, who passed away in 2006 unexpectedly in a car crash.
Is your ink simply body art or is there significance attached to it?
Very much so and a very strong spiritual significance connected to my personal awakening and journey.
My tattoo on my left ribs, close to the side where my heart is, represents the passing of my brother. He was living in another country at the time. I was in Sydney, Australia. My parents happened to be visiting him but weren’t with him in the car. They rang me the morning after the incident, Sydney time, and told me the news. The evening before I received that call, I was with a group of very close friends at a gathering, who still remember that I picked up on it. I said I felt something was very wrong and I removed myself from the group. The report from the car crash confirmed the time of my brother’s death, with the time difference, being that same time of evening in Sydney. So I confirmed that I felt my brother’s departure. The tattoo on my ribs is an image of a half-clock/half-world, with the two countries highlighted, and my brother’s name and exact time of death.
Shortly after he died, I started having paranormal experiences and signs that he was hanging around – my apartment lights started flickering, electronics in my apartment playing up, etc. I loved my brother very much, there was an age gap between us, and he actually had tattoos when I was growing up. I loved them! But I never got one until after his death. Whilst my brother and I had a very special bond, it was years after the crash and his death, when I had my full spiritual awakening, with all the wild shifts going on, synchronicities, and psychic experiences I was having with the world and people around me, that I comprehended just how connected we all are. We are all energy and pure consciousness – time, distance, and physical form mean nothing – there is no separation between souls. So, whilst my brother died in 2006, I had my tattoo done in Los Angeles, where I was living in 2018 during my initial awakening stages. It’s not only a memorial piece for him but has a wider symbolic meaning. It’s a testament to unity consciousness. We are all souls connected to one another through time and space.
The second tattoo, La Emperatriz, I had in 2019 and is very significant to me. La Emperatriz is Spanish for The Empress, a tarot card representing the divine feminine. At the time, I had left LA in a crisis, as a lot of my old life, professional and personal, was crumbling. I had to rebuild myself and had just started reading professionally. It was in Mexico, I went through the second phase of my spiritual awakening, commonly known as the dark night of the soul- it’s a really intense spiritual initiation where you are faced with your darkest shadows, and you essentially shed layers of ego in order to reach a higher level of awakening. Through this phase, you reconnect with personal truth and your divinity. My initial kundalini activation in LA actually came from a soul/twin flame interaction and throughout the awakening stages, I had other significant soulmate encounters that mirrored my light and shadow aspects. The Empress represents the divine feminine of the tarot. So my tattoo is very significant for that period of my life. I had to face a lot of very tough and fairly dark challenges to reconnect with myself and my core being and strength. The tattoo is also very significant to the work that I do as an online tarot reader and as a private spiritual coach. Many among my audience and private clients are going through their own journey back to self-love and learning through their own relationship/romantic experiences with soul connections. On TikTok and YouTube, I primarily focus on love readings, karmic and divine experiences with others, healing shadow aspects, etc. The Empress in the tarot really represents giving and receiving divine love, which starts with returning home to and loving oneself. I do this with my clients. I help them shed their own fears, healing and breaking co-dependencies stemming from trauma and shattering the illusion of separation. Both tattoos are on my left side, which is the side representing the divine feminine and both are related to my reconnection to myself and the universe. The tattoo is a testament to my own personal journey home and that stage of consciousness I reached while in Mexico. I’ve also built an entire line of shirts and tanks for my YouTube channel and brand, t-shirts and tarot. The line is titled La Emperatriz, and the main image of the product is me wearing a t-shirt showing my tattoo. In 2018, I chose the title of my brand because I’ve always been a tomboy and loved t-shirts and sneakers, probably because I grew up with brothers. But then I spent my early professional life wearing a suit as a lawyer due to family and outside pressure. When I had my awakening, I decided not to conform to others’ expectations and got very comfortable in my own skin and authenticity. So that tattoo’s meaning and symbolism are so multi-faceted and significant for me.
Do you use the same tattoo artist for all your ink?
No. Each tattoo is significant to a stage of my journey and the place where I was inked played into that, significantly, for the above-mentioned reasons. My first tattoo was in Los Angeles, in 2018. My second was in Mexico City, in 2019.
Who is your go-to tattoo artist and why?
I’ve had the pleasure of having work done by two unbelievably talented artists; Luc Sutter, California-based, LA/SD, and Carlos Serrano, in Mexico City. Aside from the fact they’re both outstanding, my choice to use those artists also carries spiritual significance. Their recommendations came to me through special and somewhat fated soul connections that I made at those specific stages of my journey and transformation. So, my choice of the artist, the artwork itself, where they’re placed, the timing, and where I was living, all carry a special and everlasting significance for me.

I’m now at another stage of my journey, currently in LA and actually looking to get another tattoo – an infinity symbol with a script that says ‘You am I. I am You.’ This reinforces my discoveries and beliefs about unity consciousness to date – that the universe is infinite and eternal, that separation is an illusion, and that all of our soul-to-soul contacts and interactions are simply mirrors.
If I decide to get a tattoo, does that decision carry any spiritual implications? I guess I’m asking this: are tattoos spiritual?
Personally, tattoos are spiritual, absolutely, yes! For all the reasons I’ve mentioned above, everything surrounding my tattoos has a deeper spiritual significance for me. Not everyone will agree with me or link a spiritual meaning to their tattoo. I think it is personal. However! Funnily enough, I have a friend who is actually a tattoo artist himself, he is inked pretty much head to toe. I once asked him if his choices have spiritual significance for him, like mine do. He said that a lot of them were spontaneous and random, but he also philosophized about it, saying that even those decisions likely come from something within the subconscious.
I tend to agree with his take on it. Carl Jung spoke about the collective unconscious which is responsible for a number of our deep-seated beliefs and instincts. And if we look to the hermetic universal law of assumption, which is integral to the work I do as a coach, all of us make our choices and have experiences that link to our assumptions and programmed beliefs. So, based on that, I would argue that even that random choice, is in fact not random!
