Sabaton recently invaded the U.S. from Falun, Sweden in support of the launch of their newest, historically dramatic album “The Last Stand“. Since witnessing the Sabaton full frontal assault on stage in 2013 for the first time (with Iron Maiden in San Bernardino, CA), I instantly became a fan and purchased an arsenal of downloads.
Today I’m a bigger fan than ever and admittedly, I felt a little like a fan boy when I had the opportunity to interview lead vocalist Joakim Brodin & brand new guitarist Tommy Johannson at Louder Than Life 2016 in Louisville, KY. At heart, besides being a music lover, I am a history geek. So, this was my opportunity to talk about both topics with one of my favorite bands on the planet.
