Nikko Hurtado is most known for his portrait tattoos. Portrait tattoos can either be spot on, or for a lack of better words, a trainwreck. Hurtado is one who nails them every time. Nikko started taking art classes at the Art Center of Pasadena, but shortly gave up to pursue a job in construction. In 2002, after working three years in construction, he began aprenticing at Art Junkies Tattoo Studio, and from there his career in tattooing would keep growing. In 2009, Hurtado opened his own shop called, Black Anchor Collective. Since, he has tattooed many celebrites and clients from all over the world have come to see him.
