Alternative Rock Singer, Song Writer ‘KULICK’ drops new lyric video ‘Just Be Friends’ single from recently released debut album ‘Yelling In A Quiet Neighborhood‘ via ‘ ENCI Records.’
“’Just Be Friends’ was one of the most difficult songs I’ve ever written. “It’s the conversation that signifies the end of a relationship. It’s when you’ve lost control of yourself and you don’t know how to handle losing someone that’s been by your side your whole life. It’s that desperate conversation of wanting to keep a piece of that relationship because you obviously still care about the person and the aftermath of hearing that they either want all of you or none of you.” says Jacob
Originally from West Penn, Pennsylvania. Starting from an early age Jacob kulick learnt to emotionally regulate through the art of music. Coping with anxiety and loneliness. Many school years being bullied for being a little different, took it’s toll. Survival kick started Jacob’s ability to tell his own story through a structural productivity of music. Portraying a contrast of emotion, life and woes.

“It is the record where I learned the most about who I am and how much of that reality I was avoiding. This record is me. you know how nice it is to really feel like that? It’s incredible. I wanted to be more hands on with making the music, producing it, and engineering my songs. On this record I was allowed that. I wrote this record for most of the year, and got to produce the songs with Chris Szczech in LA. I was able to record live drums in Capital Records and track all of my own vocals and instruments. So it was a completely different process and I enjoyed every moment creating it. It was my therapy like it always is, but in the most trying time of my life.” comments Jacob.
