Since releasing “The Land of Rape and Honey” 30 years ago, Ministry’s “Uncle Al” Jourgensen has been a revolutionary in both his bands sound and his band’s political message. By releasing “AmeriKKKant” in 2018, Al reminded everyone that even though he’s 60 and an AARP cardholder, some things never change.
Many members of Ministry have come and gone over the past 37 years the band has existed, but the “string section” comprising of Tony Campos (Bass), Sin Quirin (Guitar), and Cesar Soto (Guitar) have remained relatively consistent for the past several years. It was these fabulous three with whom Mischievous Mel from ROCKwell Mag & EdgeRockRadio.com sat down with at Gas Monkey Live in Dallas, Texas recently to talk with about the new album, tour, other musical projects all three are involved with outside of Ministry, and tattoos with two of the guys and lack of them on one of them – and why he doesn’t have any.
