There’s been tons of media coverage detailing the melt-your-faces-off event that was Monster Energy’s Fort Rock 2017 that took place April 29th & 30th in Fort Meyers, Florida. And, as someone who was in attendance, I will fully back up that coverage. Hell, I even wrote some of it. But, we’re Tattoo.com, so of course, we weren’t ONLY paying attention to the killer performances that were gracing the stage before us… Oh, no. We were busy checking out their ink!
And there was plenty of it… Here are some snippets of the ink we found wandering around the grounds of Fort Rock 2017.
Staff and Crew members aren’t excluded! We found this piece hard at work just after the gates opened and the crowd began to trickle in.
Comic book fans unite! Both the Joker and Batman apparently enjoy a good rock festival every once and awhile!
It was definitely hot outside, which was good news for these inked individuals, who were able to show off their skull-related pieces.
There was so much diversity inside the crowd! Check out this amazing Jellyfish watercolor piece we found lounging out on the grass.
The fellas in the band Felicity, which played on Day One, were big fans of ink, apparently. They’ve even got matching tattoos… which was fun trying to line up! Thanks for being such good sports, fellas!
Caleb Shomo from Beartooth was sporting a really neat full sleeve.
The staff was just as covered, if not more, than the bands! This poor guy was running around like crazy all weekend but had no qualms about hopping off his golf cart to show off his ink for a second!
This young lady was serving more than just drinks – she had an impressive collection of ink going on!
The guys in I Prevail were all inked up and ready to show it off!
Phil Labonte, vocalist for All that Remains, was showing off some amazing rune tattoos, along with some very patriotic art above it.
Jesse Hughes, frontman for Eagles of Death Metal, has some very quirky tattoos…including one very cheeky monkey!
