Melodic rap/nu-pop duo ET Boys, who hail from South Florida, reveal their latest single/lyric video, “Hell of a Night,” on the Wake Up! Music label.
Comprised of two Latino brothers, Tacboy and Sharkeyes, ET Boys exploded on the scene in the middle of 2021, releasing their debut single/music video “Sober,” which thrust the duo into the limelight. They followed with three more singles that year: “Something Love,” “Nowhere,” and “Long Night.”
Hell of a Night
In 2022, they dropped four singles, including “Rain or Sunshine,” “TIOD,” “Poison Lipstick,” and “Anthem,” along with their debut album, Forever Night. The pair went crazy in 2023, releasing seven singles. Since the beginning of 2024, the twosome has released three new singles and their dazzling EP, PAOPU.
Over three short years, ET Boys have racked up millions of streams, amassed more than 110,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and topped Digital Radio Tracker’s independent charts twice.
Refusing to be limited stylistically, ET Boys fearlessly explore multiple genres, blending diverse sonic patterns and ingenious lyrics into unique songs.
Produced by Grammy-winner Drew Correa and ET Boys, with Correa handling mixing and mastering at Entertainment Wanted Studios, “Hell of a Night” features guitar and additional vocals by Aidan Adler, along with the vocals of Sachi. The lyrics and lead vocals are courtesy of Tacboy, while the music was composed by Sharkeyes.
Diving into the world of hip-hop, “Hell of a Night” opens on heavy throbbing tones rolling into a wickedly muscular trap rhythm accented by an exotic guitar milieu, giving the tune subtle hints of ritual temple music. A gang-like rapping flow infuses the lyrics with solid depth and dimension, followed by Tacboy’s deep tenor, dripping with dark, urgent timbres.
According to ET Boys, the lyric video and cover art reflect their artistic aesthetic and the blurriness attached to having a hell of a night.
