Recently we caught up with Trivium on their headlining tour as they burned through Dallas with Arch Enemy and While She Sleeps. We’ve only seen about a half dozen shows at Gas Monkey Live, but this particular show was by far the most packed and included the most mosh pits and body passing we had seen at this venue – by a long shot.
In talking with guitarist and unclean vocalist Corey Beaulieu before the show, he had mentioned that this headlining tour they were on, in support of their new album ‘The Sin and The Sentence’, was in his opinion their biggest and best yet. That’s a huge statement for a band that has been crushing stages around the world for over a decade. So take a listen for yourself as ROCKwell UnScene Magazine & ROCKwell Radio’s “Mischievous Mel” talks about music, why Corey doesn’t have any ink, and how tattoo art plays an integral part in Trivium’s branding and imagery.
