I confess… I’m not a huge Ska fan, but the boys in Los Kung Fu Monkeys turned me. That awakening was the start of our conversation on Doheny Beach in Dana Point, CA soon after the guys tore up the stage at the first, in 2018, Sabroso Festival.
The way they played made me want to dance, sing, and jump into the circle pit. The way they interacted with the crowd was amazing. Music and how they made me feel wasn’t the only thing we discussed.
