Long Beach creative guru, Fourth Dimension (4D), is sending out nothing but positive vibes over a jazzy fusion of drums and smooth grooves over his latest release, ‘Millennial Kingdom Vol. 1’. Taking flight right into the album’s first track, ‘Watchman’s Warning (Premonition)’, Fourth Dimension sets the mood with a rhythmic with infinite combinations that showcase the spirit of the drum and his nearly lifelong journey of shedding light on his highest self through playing the divine instrument.
Beginning with the sounds of a thunderstorm, Fourth Dimension takes listeners of prying open their third eye over the second track, “Mr. Sinister”, which is rightfully entitled that verges intelligibly into an otherworldly trance state while retaining mystery. “Nuclear Fusion (Star Light)” is an absolutely beautiful musical number that would be an ideal track to hear live while dining by the beach and admiring the sunset with your loved one as the track flows into a hypnotic guitar solo that’ll leave you mind-boggled at the amount of talent Fourth Dimension and the invidiously he brought onto the album possess.
The fourth track, “Gateway to Sol III”, is a short piece that is a journey into a listener’s inner space that begins with the dream-like state of envisioning that you are heading into outer space with no intention or destination in sight. “The Return of the Nephilim (Kosmokraters)” picks up the pace and is a track that leaves you with the belief that you are flowing through a video game against a variety of players from all walks of life. The album closes with “Darkness Rising” that is a contemporary jazz classic with a vibe to die for.
It is apparent that Fourth Dimension’s vision is expansive and that he has utilized music as a therapeutic means of expression. Keep an eye out for the March 31st, 2017 release of ‘Millennial Kingdom Vol. 1’.
