Northern Invasion was two days of brutally awesome music in the middle of nowhere (aka northern Wisconsin). Despite temps so cold that the cows were squeaking out ice milk, fans came out in force to support the music and camp. Keep reading to see killer pictures of just a few of the bands that performed in the frozen tundra of WI last weekend. Enjoy \m/

Northern Invasion is on its second year. Thanks to AEG Live, music fans got to experience the best performances by the most epic bands on 3 stages for 2 days. For festival goers, the experience was the ultimate fan package. With music popping off all weekend, adult beverages, food vendors, and band merch, you could make Northern Invasion a music experience to fit all of your wants and needs. Similar to Carolina Rebellion, some of the bands did meet and greets, which is of course something fans love. If you are a rock and metal fan, put Northern Invasion on your bucket list and plan to head up there next year. Bring your beanie and maybe a winter jacket in case it was as cold as it was this year! It is one of the best festivals I have had a chance to attend- if you were there, you know why.
