Chicago Grunge Rockers, N E U R O T I X, are inspired through their courage to simply begin as a band and have went back to their roots to release one of the first songs that they have ever written, “Loser”, as their latest single. Capturing the spirit of the days in which Rock ‘N’ Roll poured forward with zero remorse from a place of spite from those who question authority and approach conversations with skepticism, the four dudes in N E U R O T I X have created a track that creates the impression of choosing to embrace a meltdown that is on the verge as we are all human beings with fluctuating emotions.
There is an instrumental synergy throughout “Loser” that captures a listener’s attention and shows that the guys have been working on creating a niche and sound that is entirely their own. Incorporating elements of influence from the past while still maintaining solid production, N E U R O T I X has delivered a solid dose of raw angst and intensity that is much-needed within our modern day.
It is time for the rebirth of total chaos being translated into art through electric guitars, fuzzy effects and total distortion which equates to one beloved genre of music: Grunge. Keep an eye out for the surprises to come in the very new future from this promising band who are set out to create their own rules. If you’re a fan of fellow musicians such as Nirvana, Mudhoney and Green River, then check out “Loser” by N E U R O T I K for yourself on Bandcamp.

“This song means a lot to us. It was written when we were just starting out and was one of our first ‘favorites.’ We hadn’t played a show yet. We were just jamming in a garage drinking beer at that point, so it’s almost fate that it’s now going to be our first official release.” – N E U R O T I X
