Contrary to how neck and hand tattoos used to be viewed in the eyes of society, they are now becoming more widely accepted in both the social and working world, depending on where you’re working. Although hand, face, and neck tattoos have always been around they are rising in popularity among the youth because of the change in the social norm and they are a great way to really make a statement about who you are, not to mention they are some of the coolest looking tattoos out there!
If you are planning to have any part of your neck, face, head or hands tattooed, be sure to think through what you want to have tattooed, where you want to have it tattooed, and to also get an artist that you trust to tattoo such visible parts of your body as any tattoo should be done. Another reason to think through getting these places tattooed is that finding a job will prove to be difficult depending on what you have tattooed and where you are applying to.
Face Tattoos
Unless you get makeup to cover your tattoos, having tattoos on your face won’t be easy to hide. If you were to go to just any artist off the street to get your face tattooed, you could end up with something you definitely don’t want other people to see, especially when its so noticable too. This is why many artists out there won’t tattoo someones face unless the person coming in already has a handful of visible tattoos on their body.
Something else you might hear about face or neck tattoos is how it can “ruin the beauty of someone’s appearance”. This is simply not true. When a tattoo is done correctly it can even enhance the beauty of one’s appearance in their own way. I think we can all agree that is obviously true given these two lovely examples down below.
However, as mentioned earlier, there are most definitely some face tattoos that ruined the appearance of a person’s face…yikes! I don’t think Drake was really all too impressed with this one.
Neck Tattoos
Getting tattoos on your neck would still be tricky to hide, but it could be doable depending on a number of factors. There are many things to work out when it comes to getting tattoos on more visible parts of your body.
This includes placement, sizing, and finding an artist to execute it all properly. Be sure to find an artist that you know will exceed your expectations on a tattoo or else you could end up with something you might regret.
This neck tattoo is a great example. The contrast between the dark and bright colors really helps bring attention to the detail that went into this neck and chest piece. You can tell that this piece was well thought out and skillfully done.
Hand Tattoos
You look at your hands more than any other part than your body. They’re constantly being put to use in order to fulfill your daily routines. When it comes to tattooing them, always plan out what you want on there. If not, you’ll be stuck with having to look at something you regret every day until you get it removed.

Biomech and bio-organic tattoos always make for awesome hand tattoos.
In the end, the tattoos you get should only matter for you. Do what makes you happy, just be sure to take the necessary precautions before getting your face, neck, and hands tattooed!
