Dylan Richter of the Melodic Hardcore band For The Fallen Dreams has a body COVERED in ink! He got most of his work done in his home state of Michigan. The art he has ranges from traditional to Japanese inspired pieces. You can check out an interview about his tattoos in the video I attached below.
This is an awesomely detailed piece done by the world renowned Mike Cole! Cole has an awesome signature bio-style that makes him stand out from the rest! You can really see the time and care he puts in to all his pieces.
This is Mitch Lucker, the deceased vocalist of Suicide Silence. An awesome talent and he had great tattoo work. The majority of the work (if not all) you see here was done by John Montgomery of The Grand Tattoo Lodge (ex. Tattoo Syndicate) in Redlands, CA. RIP Mitch "You only live once so just go fu**ing nuts" We miss you man.
FOXES! The fox is by far my favorite animal and this awesome piece does a great job of portraying their beauty. This tattoo was done by Brian T. Wilson of ScapeGoat Tattoo(Vegan owned and operated) in South East Portland, OR. What is cool about this tattoo is that the young lady that wanted it came in with separate ideas for 3 tattoos. What Brian did was turn it in to one tattoo when held together, but it also look great when standing alone!
Owls are a very popular tattoo right now, and if they're done by the right artist you can see why. This traditional styled chest piece was done by Jason Corbett (Aka ZigZag) who formerly worked at Red Hot and Blue Tattoo in Edinburgh, Scotland. He now currently works as a freelance artist and travels and guests on a constant. You can see how he has modernized this traditional style piece with the diamond that the owl has in it talons and also by the shading and coloring technique. A very nice piece of work and something to be proud of
This amazingly detailed piece wash done by Stefano Alcantara who works as a freelance artist and also works at Last Rites Tattoo Theater in New York, NY. This particular piece contains a large amount of SteamPunk inspiration. Such detailed work, especially in the eye.
A gorgeous piece done by Roman Abrego, shop owner at Artistic Element Tattoo which is located in Yucaipa, CA . This is a Bio-Mechanical piece, which is an art style that is becoming increasingly popular with tattoo enthusiasts all over. Very different and very eye catching!
Piece done by John Montgomery of The Grand Tattoo Lodge in Redlands, CA . Full front torso. Done with Alla Prima ink which maintains the color even after years.
