Cancer Tattoos

Cancer tattoos are becoming more and more popular. Most of us know someone who has been affected by this disease. Many people will get a version of the cancer ribbon designed into a tattoo. Many get a cancer tattoo as a memorial for a loved one who has died from cancer. Others will get it for someone who is fighting it. The breast cancer ribbon, which is pink, is often seen in tattoo form. Cancer tattoos are a good design for any part of the body since they are usually not very large. Even people who generally would not get a tattoo will get a tattoo to memorialize a loved one. It's a good way to mourn and has become a common part of the healing process when losing someone.

Cancer is also an astrological sign that falls between June 21 and July 22 in the western zodiac. Cancers are associated with water and is considered as one of the four cardinal signs. It is hypothesized that it takes the form of the crab based on the mythological creature, Lernaean Hydra, that Heracles destroyed. The cancer sign is usually a “69” or the shape of a crab. It can be a great tattoo almost anywhere on the body from something small on the wrist or ankle to something much more elaborate. The “69” and the crab can be combined to create a variety of designs that show off ones zodiac sign in a classy and sexy manner.
