About Us
Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Natalie Roelle is the co-owner of Voodoo Monkey. Her background began with an Undergrad degree in Art History and is a fine art painter/sculptor (before learning the art of tattooing).
Natalie’s main influences are: Traditional Japanese, Chinese, Indian prints / patterns, Toulouse-Lautrec, Egon Shiele, Gustav Klimt, Alphonse Mucha, Tom Waits.
Natalie’s favorite tattoo work is big, bold, well-designed, custom and colored. She really appreciates her clients who think about their tattoos as art that works with their body as a whole. Natalie also likes the collaborative effort involved in tattooing.
She has met many very interesting people in this business — never a dull moment.
