Naomi Valdivia is truly a Southern California artist, raised in Carson, CA, went to highschool in Hollywood at Fairfax Visual Arts Magnet, and college finishing with a Bachelors in Fine Arts focusing on Illustration from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. She currently is an artist, writer, crafter, mom and wife in Ventura County, CA. Her style is influenced by meshing cultures, as she is a living, breathing mesh of cultures herself-specifically Filipino, Japanese, and mixed Caucasian. Her work is both traditional and digital, mixing pencil drawing, the clean vector quality of Illustrator and the many painterly possibilities of Photoshop. She's created tattoo illustrations for apparel as well as for peoples' bodies. In addition to being an artist and writer, she is also the site Artist Liaison.
