Basic quote, "This is rough country, you got to be tough." Possible date and Grandfathers initials too.
Background and reason for design detail and why I am here:
My grandfather as with many was very special to me. Taught me how to drive, swing a hammer, shoot guns, be polite for the ladies, and raise hell with the boys. After his time in the Army Air Forces during WWII he went to work as a lead man on bridge crews for the railroad. In my mind I think it would look cool to have this done in an old school drafters font like you would find on old blue prints from the 1950's to the time that computers took over the art. I'm not really set on a color though if there was a way to make it look like old vellum paper would be cool.
A couple of days before he passed away in the local VA hospital, he had a brief moment of being awake and clear, and these were the words that came from his mouth. I have no other ink of any sort, and have until now never had anything I felt significant enough to wear forever. This is without a doubt it.
Never been on this site before, so feel free to throw numbers out there as far as the work goes. Thank you for your time, I look forward to seeing what kind of magic you can work.
As a side note if anyone gets carried away with design anything to do with the WWII Army Air Forces Logo, Douglas A-20, A-26, and A36 planes, Train Tracks, Bridges, or Hand Tools would be ok to incorporate with the words.
