Tattoo.com is excited to announce our partnership with Tattoo Nation, the much anticipated documentary that chronicles the transformation of the tattoo from counter culture iconography to the high art form it is today.

John Corry, the creator of Tattoo Nation says "the film carries with it a message of tattoo acceptance and the declaration that the tattoo has arrived as a legitimate art form."

Specifically, it dials into the formation of fine line, black and gray realism, a uniquely American tradition of tattoo styling. Tattoo Nation tells the story of 3 legendary tattoo pioneers, Charlie Cartwright, Jack Rudy and Freddy Negrete and how their unique approach to tattooing revolutionized the art form forever.

Corry pulls no punches when it comes to the reach of his film : "This will be the most widely distributed film on the subject of tattoos ever released."

Sounds exciting.

We look forward to working with John and the rest of the crew. Can't wait to see it. We'll keep all you tattoo lovers out there posted as this project progresses.
