Droves of fans were reveling and rocking out for the 3rd and final day of this years MUSINK with Bad Religion closing out the festival. Also taking the stage was Pennywise, Swingin’ Utters, and Unwritten Law. Curious as to what else went down at the 10th anniversary of MUSINK? Here is a quick recap of day 3…
On the final day of this years event, ROCKwell UnScene and Tattoo.com caught up with the one and only Bob Tyrrell. If you are a fan of tatts and tattooing you’re sure to recognize his name. Tyrrell is among the best and top ink masters in the business today. “I find myself riding the coat-tails of the greats, like Paul Booth”. Those are some of Tyrell’s words about his life in the world of ink. You can catch the full interview coming soon.
How important are tattoos and certain artists to people? Important enough to fly from Canada to Cali to get inked by the one and only Gloria of Hailin Tattoo. Not only did we get to chat with her, we got to see her in action. This interview will also be available soon at Tattoo.com.
Events on Sunday also included the crowning of a new Miss MUSINK. There were also tattoo contests for Traditional tattoo, Color, Black and gray, and a tattoo of the day hosted by Jayme Foxx.
To recap, MUSINK is Music, Ink and Cars (and motorcycles). This family event includes great swag at the merch booths, vendor village, grub stands, chances to win prizes, hair cuts, jewelry, clothes, custom socks, and more.
If you missed this year you can see the highlights at Tattoo.com from ROCKwell UnScene Music Magazine. Be sure to put next years MUSINK on your calendar.
