For those of you who experienced the razor’s edge live performances brought to you by Murder FM and have been wondering when the band would be returning to a stage near you, you may be waiting a long time. The band is currently on an indefinite hiatus. But fear not – Murder FM lead vocalist Norman Matthew has created a brand new solo project he’s titled “As Strange As Angels“. The single “Waves” has already hit terrestrial and online rock radio stations and you can expect the full album in early 2018.
Recently Mr. Matthew traveled to our brick and mortar store in Whitewright, Texas (Rockwell Anderson) for a radio interview (ROCKwell Radio on The Edge – www.EdgeRockRadio.com) to talk about all those things above, and most importantly to you tattoo fans, he also showed off and talked about his beautiful ink.
When Norman isn’t busy making music and being a single dad to 3-year-old Dexter, you can find him at his music school, The Sound Foundation, located in the musical heart of Dallas – Deep Ellum. Kids of all ages can take guitar, drum, and vocal lessons, and on occasion the school hosts open forums for musicians and music fans with special guests such as Rex Brown (Pantera/Kill Devil Hill) and John Kelly (Type O Negative/Danzig) Thursday, January 4th @ 5:30 pm.
