Jimi Harris, Tattoo Artist and owner of Crofton, MD Mystic Piercing and Tattoo, is hoping his new reality pilot pitched to air on the Esquire Channel takes off without a hitch, as he plans to invite two very special participants each and every week for cover-up tattoos and an all-expenses paid tour of the city.
Tattourist plans to run for twelve consecutive weeks as it whisks away candidates who have bad tattoos (perhaps regrets, but we won’t call them that) and who are also in need of some good food and a little sightseeing. (Who doesn’t crave that?)
After being picked up in a limo van contestants will be suited up in logo printed apparel as they arrive at the Mystic Piercing and Tattoo shop to discuss their bad tattoos, as well as dinner plans. (Let’s get right down to business.)
After the new tattoo process and design is decided upon, Tattourists will be dropped off to their very own smoking rooms at the Comfort Inn and Suites for three nights and three full days.
Once settled, dinner it is. Show participants will happily choose from over fifty restaurants of their choice and will enjoy drinks and dining as they bask in well-deserved rest and relaxation. In the morning, Bob Evans Restaurant it is! (I recommend the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits.)
With over 500 selected locations for tourist travel, Mystic Piercing and Tattoo Tattourists will hit the road for sightseeing and lunch around the city before repeating it all over again the next day. (Who cares about the tattoo cover-ups at this point? Let’s see some action.)
Saturday is bad tattoo fix-it day and you can rest assured you're in good hands. Mystic Piercing and Tattoo has been open for thirteen years, and Jimi's crew undergoes a two year tattoo apprenticeship program to ensure they are skilled in all tattoo styles, as well as educated on all the basics to protect your health and well-being during your session.
After a long and exciting day of changing tattoo mistakes into new masterpieces, participants experience another a night on the town before returning to the Comfort Inn for a final evening of sleep and sweet dreams, as they diligently care for their new tattoos and drift into a peaceful slumber.
On Sunday as the jets prepare for takeoff, Jimi and the bunch at Mystic Piercing and Tattoo in Crofton, MD wish recipients well and safe on their travels.
Was your tattoo really a mistake? Perhaps not anymore. Should you be so lucky to wind up being cast on Tattoourist, it may be a blessing in disguise.
Good luck to Jimi Harris, his shop, and the special guests selected for this great adventure.
May good food, sweet views and a beautiful tattoo await YOU.
