North Texas-based metal outfit Last Night of Solace introduces their new single/music video, “Phantom Pain,” the first single and title track from their forthcoming EP, slated to drop July 26.
Produced by the band’s vocalist Cameron Foley, the EP was mixed and mastered by Aaron Isbell, while Kris Crummet mastered the single.
Talking about the single, Foley says, “This track reaches down deep into my soul and speaks to some of the inner trauma that so many of us fail to see or even address. I hope listeners will relate in some way and make this song their own. We hope to see you at one of our tour stops, come say hello!”
The band has announced a nine-date West Coast tour – Let Em Cook Tour – along with Fatalist. The tour starts in San Francisco and takes the band back through Texas. Last Night of Solace has shared the stage with Memphis May Fire, Atreyu, Upon a Burning Body, Escape The Fate, Until I Wake, Dark Divine, Catch Your Breath, Point North, Notions, Garzi, Fit For an Autopsy, and Element Eighty.
Made up of Cameron Foley (vocals), Seth Andy (drums), Kennedy Boynton and Jeiden Lovell on guitars, and Austin Hunt (bass), Last Night of Solace’s sound merges elements of metalcore, rock, hip-hop, and hints of ‘90s goth/industrial into a distinctive sound that hits hard and evokes profound emotions.

Opening on swirling tones topped by rapping vocals, “Phantom Pain” flows into a powerful melody dripping tangs of metalcore blended with industrial muscle. Foley’s evocative voice imbues the lyrics with both melodic textures and snarling timbres as the harmonics pulsate with thick energy, followed by shimmering breaks that infuse the tune with galvanizing sonic shifts.
