Award-winning composer Yuval Ron will release his new collaborative album, Sacred Spiral, on February 6, 2022. The album features the talent of vocalist Úyanga Bold.

Essentially, Sacred Spiral is music meditations on the “more-than-human world,” a term coined by the American ecologist and philosopher David Abram. It refers to humankind’s life and culture on the earth, along with that which exceeds humanity.
Contributing musicians include Shye Ben Tzur, Pandit Nayan Ghosh, James Hood, Chugge Khan, Dennis Karmazyn, Andrew Carney, Brien Engle, Andjru Werderitsch, and Kenneth Goff.
Encompassing seven tracks, entry points include “Ethereal Voyage,” exuding shimmering tones reminiscent of the Empyrean and the movie, 2001: A Space Odyssey, simultaneously numinous and alluringly beautiful. Úyanga Bold’s voice has to be heard to be fully appreciated: light, airy, luminous, and exquisitely gorgeous.
“Mysteries of the Heart” rolls out on chanting vocals, supple, and rippling with plush modulations. Below and all around, emerging harmonics glow with vibrant energy. A personal favorite because of its classic feel and flow, “Darkness Into Light” features the aching, lingering timbres of an evocative cello.
The final track, “Deep Earth Chant,” travels on eerie, vibrating textures, ranging from elusive droning filaments to soft, oozing sonic washes.
Sacred Spiral offers deeply spiritual effusions of sound and color, while the superb voice of Úyanga Bold perfectly complements the music of Yuval Ron.
