Tattoo.com and Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) proudly present emerging artist of the week, Beartooth. Hailing from Columbus, OH, the band has been together since 2012 and released their 2nd Red Bull Records full length album “Aggressive” on June 3. As far as style, Beartooth has “much in common with stomping metalcore as old-school punk, vintage screamo, and harder edged pop punk, with a bit of cinematic extravagance.”
Their song, “Rock is Dead” features lyrics that will resonate inside the hearts of rock n roll fans and metalheads alike: “I didn’t make it here to let anyone drag me down. If I make sound, it better be loud. If rock n roll’s dead, you can kill me right now”
Beartooth is performing at Chicago Open Air tomorrow, July 16th.
