Seductive, rebellious rock and metal burlesque outfit Little Miss Nasty releases their debut album, Weapon Of Choice, along with their music video, “Buried In Sin.”
Little Miss Nasty’s sound delivers pure sensory overload, blending elements of rock, metal, EDM, and hip-hop. Their live shows are electrifying spectacles of dancers, performers, and visuals, featuring music from Korn, NIN, Apashe, RATM, Slipknot, Chelsea Wolf, IC3PEAK, and Rob Zombie.
What began as an underground show at LA’s Viper Room in 2012, has blossomed into an international brand, witnessed by Little Miss Nasty’s current ongoing sold-out residencies in LA, Long Beach, and San Francisco, along with monthly residencies in Las Vegas’ AREA l15, and NYC’s Paradise Club.
Entry points on the seven-track album include” Liquid Stars,” opening with sumptuous a cappella voices flowing into a dark, industrial-pop melody that takes on heavy textures and screaming vocals.
A personal favorite because of its amalgamation of metal flavors, hints of hip-hop, and stark electro-rock dynamics, “Buried In Sin” reveals luscious, melodic vocals and gang-like harmonies. The visuals of the video exude quasi-religious images juxtaposed against bravura singing.
The black industrial percussion and eerie synths of “Bad Girls Romance” vibrate with raw, erotic energy, infusing the song with shadowy sensuality, like Medusa engaging in a love affair.
“Flashing Gold” embraces exotic, metallic harmonics with a trap beat and flamboyant rapping flows. At once lullaby-like and thrillingly erogenous, there’s a wicked edge to the track.
“Buried In Sin (The Snowy White Owl Remix) ties the album off with a high-octane, glowing intro topped by layered harmonies. A soaring voice enters, imbuing the tune with bewitching timbres, followed by shimmering harmonics riding a thumping kick drum. Simultaneously atmospheric and oh-so-stylish, this track surges with washes of beguiling soundscapes, culminating in a heavyweight outro.
Little Miss Nasty’s debut album, Weapon Of Choice, is a dazzling showcase of the group’s innovative approach to music.
