Some Devils… you might not know who this is band yet, but you won’t forget their name after you’ve heard them play for the first time. ROCKwell UnScene is excited to introduce this band to you via Tattoo.com. We were lucky enough to hear their first single as an exclusive.
Talk about new, this band is technically still in the forming stages. Founding members include Wade Fitzgerald (formerly of City by Storm) – vocals, Kevin Beatty (Beneath The Buried) – vocals, Keegan Gogerty (City By Storm) – guitar, Tyler Mahurin (Static Lullaby/Hollywood Undead) – drums. Sam and Joe Graves (brothers), from Innersound studios in York, England, helped write, produce, and record the music. The Grave brothers worked on the last couple of Asking Alexandria albums. They put their magic touch into Some Devils and it shows.
Sam Graves wrote and recorded most of the instruments and he is a big part of this project, but he will not be a performing member of the group. Now that you know who Some Devils are, let’s talk about what the music is like.
Some Devils is in the vein of Asking Alexandria. “It has been a really fun project. We tried to see how many directions we could take metal and it has been a blast”. That is how Wade Fitzgerald explains the music. I heard nothing but high energy, in your face f*cking metal and venture that this band will put be at the top of your “favorite bands” list after first listen.
Currently, a full album is In the works and almost complete. The American members of the band went to England to track vocals and put together the debut album, coming out in just a few short weeks. The first track off the new album is “Voices” and you get to listen to it first by watching the lyric video below.
