SoCal experimental rockers The Body Rampant have released “Miles Away”, a single from their upcoming album RMPNT due out on 2/16.
‘Miles Away’ was the first song we wrote for the album. It was back in October 2014 when we tracked drums. Thomas came out while he was in LA and we spent a few hours tracking at our engineer’s home studio. He had never heard the song prior to that day and learned everything on the fly. A few hours later the drums were done. We then spent the next several hours smoking weed and talking about our favorite bands. It was a dream come true for us. Here we are four years later, after dealing with many of the industries hurtles we are proud to give you ‘Miles Away’ – The Body Rampant
Live, the group can hardly contain their creative energy and are often exploring every inch of their stage. Armed with avant-garde handmade masks by world-renowned artist Duane Flatmo, these miscreants will grab your attention with their off the wall imagery, and their handcrafted indie meets art rock sound.
Having shared the stage with artists like Armor For Sleep, Letlive, and Finch, TBR has proven to be an ever-changing living organism that adapts to rocks ever-changing landscape.
