Tattoo.com and Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) proudly present the Exclusive Remix Premiere of “Charmer” by Silver Snakes, a song from their newly released album “Saboteur“. The remix features electronic beats, samples, and synths; further demonstrating the band’s ability and willingness to push boundaries in style and sound. “We have always written what we want to write,” says vocalist, Alex Estrada. “Regardless of the fact that this new album might be a bit more accessible, it is still the darkest music we have ever written.” According to Estrada, the new album “Saboteur” was inspired by two alternative masterpieces: “Downward Spiral” by Nine Inch Nails and Sleep’s cult classic “Dopesmoker”.
“Charmer is about a person who gets carried away with power. It invokes a sense of elusiveness, invincibility and overall cockiness. It’s my favorite track on the album and was first choice for a remix when Sanford Parker expressed interest in doing one. He’s been a staple of the Chicago metal and industrial scene for many years having lent his production, mixing, and wall of noise synth skills to bands like Pelican, Wovenhand, Youth Code, VATTNET and his own solo ventures.
