You might know him as the co-founder and second-longest serving member of the mighty metal band Megadeth, but there is more to David Ellefson than music. Dave is an avid coffee drinker and the proud owner of Ellefson Coffee Company.
“My love for coffee has accompanied me around the world for my entire musical career. Just like the spirit of a culture or the melody of a song, the enjoyment of coffee brings people together and creates harmony among us.” – David Ellefson
If you’ve attended any DWP festival (Chicago Open Air, Welcome To Rockville, Rock On The Range, etc.) and you drink coffee, you’ve probably had a chance to try one of Dave Ellefson’s most popular roasts,”Roast In Peace“. Now added to the list of offerings from Ellefson Coffee are Autograph, Skid Row, and Queensryche’s Michael Wilton.
If you’re a coffee addict with a sweet tooth, you can try the new coffee bean candy ‘Atomic Rocks‘. Also coming out soon is an Ellefson Coffee-infused beer, “Urban Legend Coffee Stout” by Hydra Beer.
Got a case of the munchies? No worries… Dave has you covered. You can now try vegan cheesecake made with ‘Roast in Peace’ from Sarah’s Organic Gourmet in Los Angeles. Yummmm!!
Lastly, if you didn’t know, Dave’s musical endeavors (beyond playing in Megadeth) include being the owner of EMP and Combat Records.
