Southern California-based tattooer Dillon Forte will demonstrate his virtuosity in New York later this month with a guest residency at legendary Bang Bang Tattoo in NYC. Forte will be tattooing from July 26-28th by appointment only.
The NYC-based shop is operated by artist Bang Bang, who has been named by Vogue as “the most famous tattoo artist in the world” and has a celebrity client roster that includes Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and more. Forte will be in good company amongst Bang Bang and some of the best tattoo artists on the East Coast who wield a wide variety of styles and specialties. He will bring his much sought after gift of Sacred Geometry tattoo art to current and new clients on the East Coast.
Forte’s Sacred Geometry art orbits around the bind point, a central point where the physical world and spiritual world intersect.
Renowned around the world for his intricate sacred geometry, blackwork, dotwork, canvas art, and international travels, Forte has tattooed Chris Hemsworth, Usher, Ben McKee of Imagine Dragons, Kat Von D and many others that actively seek him out via word of mouth and seeing his work online and in person. He also operates Sri Yantra Tattoo, which most recently opened a new studio off Abbott Kinney in Venice, CA.
A California native, Forte believes in viewing the body as a whole, and creates harmonious designs to flow seamlessly with the skin. His side projects include photography, painting, fashion and tech design, commercial and residential murals, and gallery exhibitions.
