Whitechapel is celebrating their 10th anniversary this year. To commemarate this momentous time in their career, they released a new album in June called ‘Mark of the Blade‘ via Metal Blade Records. On top of this, they’re currently headlining the 10th annual ‘Never Say Die!‘ Tour in Europe with the following bands: Thy Art is Murder, Carnifex, Obey the Brave, Fallujah, Make Them Suffer, and Polar.
We’ve had a few opportunities over the years to see this highly successful, uber-talented deathcore band from Knoxville, TN perform at various venues across the country. This year, we got to see them at Vans Warped Tour in Milwaukee, WI and again at Aftershock 2016, where we had a chance to sit down and chat with lead singer Phil Bozeman & rhythm guitarist Alex Wade.
Besides Mischievous Mel having a fan girl moment with Phil and Alex, what did we learn about the band? What are the stories beneath the ink?
