Max Cavalera, the man behind Sepultura, Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy, Killer Be Killed and many, many other bands is a true music legend. In 2016, Max with his brother Iggor, in celebration of Sepultura’s multi-platinum album ‘Roots’ 20th anniversary (and the last album Max recorded with the band), embarked on the ‘Return to Roots‘ world tour.
ROCKwell UnScene & Tattoo.com got a chance to hang with THE man at Aftershock 2016 in Sacramento, CA, the last U.S. show before leaving for Europe and ending his tour in South America.
Max has an endless well of stories about music, religion, being in bands, family and well… all things Max Cavalera. He was very open with everything we asked him. He told us that “next year is an important year. Soulfly has its 20th Anniversary”. If you want to know the full story, check out our interview with Max below.
