The Los Angeles based hard rock band Blackmore was on the rise, on the cusp of breaking out of SoCal when they suddenly lost their original front man due to a death in his family, forcing him to move out of the country. So how could they replace the irreplaceable? Never fear… K’noup is here. The lead singer of the “Gypsy Metal” band VIZA, whom we interviewed last in 2014, is easily on our Top 5 Best Male Vocalists of 2016 list.
Now the band is re-formed and back on stage. Here’s our interview, from the “green” room (aka bathroom), with the whole crew before their Saturday night, headlining performance at the world famous Troubadour in Hollywood, CA. The band discusses producing new music and an incredible new video, the chemistry within the band, and some beautiful ink on one band member.
