A.D.A.M. Music Project, aka AMP, releases their new single/lyric video, “Voice Of Destiny.” Inspired by the video game Destiny, “Voice of Destiny” is a tribute to Peter Dinklage, the original voice of the Ghost before being replaced by Nolan North.
“Voice Of Destiny” channels the enigmatic, tumultuous energy of the Ghost, the self-aware AI central to the game.
Founded by Adam DeGraide, the concept underlying AMP is that collaboration is one of the best ways to make music. Partnering with Dameon Aranda on the project, the pair of creatives co-write and co-produce, utilizing the talents of myriad vocalists and musicians.
Several of the primary contributors to AMP include Adam DeGraide (music director, guitar, bass, keys, programmer, arranger, lead vocals), Dameon Aranda (lead vocals, guitar), Gabe Aranda, Lacy Saunders, Macie Cantrell, Hartleigh Buwick, Myra Beasley, Joel Driskell, and Adam Aguilar all on lead vocals, along with Jay Gleason and Eric Gillette on lead guitar, Neil DeGraide from Dirt Poor Robins, on lead guitar, and Jeff Hall on drums.
Voice Of Destiny
A.D.A.M. Music Project’s music speaks to video game characters, blending inspirations from classic and contemporary titles, and fusing distinctive styles, perspectives, and voices.
“Voice Of Destiny” opens on a potent drum fill, leading into heavy layered guitars: one layer growling, the other luminously dazzling. Portentous, slightly raspy vocals imbue the lyrics with flavors of mysterious gravity and imminent expectation. On the chorus, thick snarling harmonies add depth and dimension to the fateful mood of the tune.
“Cause I’m epic / No one compares to me / I always was and always will be the / Voice of destiny / Cause I’m epic / The ghost inside your dreams / I’m the whisper in the night / The voice of destiny.”
Powerfully arresting and dripping with impending intention, with “Voice Of Destiny,” AMP captures the electrifying atmosphere of Destiny.
