The bicep is a common place for tattoos, especially for men. The bicep is a part of the man's anatomy that obviously stands out. The muscle mass is naturally bigger than the woman's, so getting a tattoo here would also be very visible and stand out. It's also an easy place to cover up with sleeves. It used to be more taboo for a woman to get a bicep tattoo, but these days, it's perfectly acceptable. Common bicep tattoos that men get are tribals (bands and full half sleeves), old school half sleeve designs, pinups, and 3D. Even though it's great to show your bicep tattoos off, exposure to the sun can cause fading. If it is a new tattoo, sun exposure can cause a burning sensation. Most common arm tattoos are full sleeves and half sleeves, as well as tribal bands or other old school tattoos.
